Burn Camp

what is burn camp?

Burn Camp is a chance for kids who’ve survived a fire to come together to be kids. It’s a special place to spend four days with old and new friends. The overnight camp is an opportunity for kids between the ages of 6 and 16 to come together to have fun and share their feelings and experiences.

Arts. Crafts. Sports. Games. Water sports. Those are all the things most kids experience at camp. But at Burn Camp kids also spend time with nurses, social workers, adult burn survivors and firefighters. It’s an opportunity for them to create a new and positive self-image.

CoSt

The cost of the Burn Camp is entirely underwritten so that there is no cost to the children or their families.

Kids have enough to worry about without the added pressure dealing with burn injuries.
